Wow !  Have you watched The Masters Tournament 2007 over the last 3 days ?  There are so much action.  That also explains why I missed posting on the blog.  I have to wake up early to watch the tournament as it is telecast in the wee hours at where I am.

Anyway, the Augusta National Golf Club has again proved to be a big challenge to golfers.  The golfers, even Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, were “tamed” by the wind, weather and the design of the golf course.

On the hind sight, the tournament actually bring out many golfers who were not that prominent in other tournaments.  Justin Rose is one player who did quite well over the last 3 rounds.  He is one of the more constant players in the field and is still in contention of the championship.

After 3 days of tournament, no golfers in the field has an under-par score.  The leader is Stuart Appleby with a score of 2 over-par going into the final round.  With Tiger Woods and Justin Rose at +3 in tied second place.

The course has caused many troubles even for seasoned and high ranked players, such as Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh.  Tiger has found trouble on the first 2 days.  On the second day, Tiger found the water twice.  Phil Mickelson were out of the fairway a few times and even hit a tree when he tried to get the ball back into play.

Actually, the third day was not as great as the second day for many players.  Tim Clark who were one of the leaders from the second day, carded an 8-over 80 which now puts him tied in 8th position.  Vijay Singh, who were even after 2 days, carded a third round score of +7 which puts him tied in 19th position.

Tiger Woods, as usual, played constant rounds and is back in the hunt for the championship, lying in tied second place.

This is the “see-saw” of scores that we have seen over the 3 rounds during the Masters at the Augusta National.   I think the championship is still up for grabs.  Looking at the swing in the scores in one round, anyone out there still has a chance to wear th green jacket.

Go watch the final round… it will be an exciting game…
