Tiger Woods : 7 Wins in a row

After the win at the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines on Sunday, Tiger Woods extends his winning streak to seven in a row.  This all happened at the first golf event that he played in 2007.  Tiger is not 4 away from the longest winning streak of 11 set by Bryon Nelson in 1945.

Woods did not start well and did not lead in the tournament on the first 3 days.  Carding a 66-72-69 on the first 3 days of the tournament put him close to the leaders.  Brandt Snedeker was doing very well leading the pack.  Until the last day, Tiger eagled to close up the gap with the leaders and made a final birdie to take the lead.

Will 2007 be another one of those amazing years for Tiger ?  We will find out.  Tiger will be heading for the Dubai Desert Classics next.

Another big question is of course whether Tiger will play in the Opens this year.
